We are a referral service, not a law firm

Sydney Conveyancers is a lead generation and referral service. We connect property buyers and sellers with licensed conveyancers and solicitors in our network. Sydney Conveyancers is not a law firm or a licensed conveyancing practice, does not hold a practising certificate or conveyancer's licence, and does not provide legal or conveyancing services or advice. All conveyancing work and advice is provided by the independent licensed conveyancer or solicitor we connect you with.

Information only, not legal advice

Information on this website is general in nature and does not constitute legal advice. It does not take into account your individual circumstances. Property law in NSW is complex and changes over time. Obtain advice from a qualified licensed conveyancer or solicitor about your specific situation before acting on anything you read here.

All conveyancing work is done by an independent professional

Sydney Conveyancers does not carry out conveyancing or any other legal work. In NSW, conveyancing can be carried out by a licensed conveyancer, regulated by NSW Fair Trading under the Conveyancers Licensing Act 2003, or by a solicitor. When you make an enquiry, we connect you with an independent licensed conveyancer or solicitor in our network, and that firm acts for you under its own terms of engagement. We are not responsible for the advice, conduct, fees, timing, or outcomes of any conveyancer or solicitor you engage.

Figures and dates are general and change

Any figures mentioned on this website, including transfer duty rates, first home concessions, the First Home Owner Grant amount, cooling-off periods, and scheme commencement or expiry dates, are general guidance only and were correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing. These amounts and rules change over time, and eligibility depends on your circumstances. The NSW First Home Owner (New Homes) Grant, for example, is currently $10,000 for eligible new homes, and the First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme provides no transfer duty up to $800,000 with a concession to $1,000,000. Always verify current figures and your eligibility with a licensed conveyancer or solicitor and with Revenue NSW (revenue.nsw.gov.au) before you rely on them.

Estimates and tools

Any calculators or estimates provided on this website are indicative only. They use general assumptions and published rates, do not account for every concession, exemption, or surcharge that may apply, and are not a quote. The actual cost of your conveyancing, including the professional fee and government charges and disbursements, will be set out by the licensed conveyancer or solicitor you engage.

Fixed-fee quotes

Fixed-fee quotes are provided by the individual licensed conveyancer, solicitor or firm we connect you with and typically cover standard professional fees for a routine transaction. Government charges, search fees, transfer duty and third-party disbursements are additional and vary by property. Confirm exactly what is and is not included in writing with your conveyancer or solicitor before you engage them.

No guarantees

We do not guarantee that any matter will settle on a particular date, that any specific fee will apply, or that any grant or concession will be approved. Eligibility and outcomes are determined by Revenue NSW, your lender, and the licensed conveyancer or solicitor you engage.

Reviews and trust signals

Any testimonials or sample reviews shown on this website that are marked as samples are placeholders only and do not represent specific clients. We do not publish fabricated reviews, conveyancer or solicitor names, or firm names.
